We just moved from our first spot (in a driveway in a cul-de-sac) to the new spot! (Surrounded by trees and grass and garden space and birds! Yippee!) It has taken a bit longer to level the house on the wavy ground but it is almost set! The inside is a wreck though. We took everything off the walls and such to move and now we are very slowly putting things back together. I think over the years we will figure out ways to keep our things in place when we move so we don’t have to pack anything… We are doing some improvements though so stay alert for more pictures! 🙂
Lovely!
I grew up on a sailboat, everything moves all the time. Boats use bungy cords and door latches so things don’t fall off or out of cupboards. You learn very quickly which things just don’t want to stay in place. Unavoidably however you will need to pack some things in your house whenever you move – which is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Check out boat interiors and you will get lots of tips.
When I was designing the tiny house I looked at a ton of boat interiors. I was inspired to do the ceiling of the house based on what I saw on some fancy boats. Im glad to hear you like the house. 🙂
I love your tiny house. I am 69 years old and live in Michigan but want to live back down south where I was born and raised. I think I’d like to live in a tiny house only one with stairs, but I absolutely love your bed room with all that glass. Do you have a bathroom inside? I did not see one, but I’d like to. let me know and send a picture!
Thank you
Anxious to see inside. I’m struggling with downsizing but really want to do!
