nice closet he made! the top half is basically the same exact way.
So update on why he isn’t back yet…they got the trailer weighed and it was more than it was supposed to be. darn… so they had to get new wheels and axles and stuff to hold more weight to be road legal.. so that takes a little while….but basically….they can leave in a few days.. I hope. the drive is going to be scary. snow and ice are coming!

Well that answered my question about whether road legal had been calculated. Obviously you take things that challenge you in stride and get them corrected? What road legal weight did it finish up being?
The final weight was a bit over 10,000. It really shouldnt have weighted that much, but all hard wood flooring, and thicker plywood walls really adds up. Also, the amount of caulk im sure was quite a bit. Good news…. no problems with anything building wise yet. Must have done something right 🙂
Oh, and I would place the wheel inside as decorative item and tell everyone it was to be able for you to stear the Nautilus when on the water! LOL
